A latest victim of phone hacking fraud is a North Delhi advocate who received three missed calls and subsequently lost money from his account. The cyber team of Delhi Police said that the advocate neither answered the phone nor shared the OTP.
However the hacker was able to get all his mechanics details and personal data and his money was snatched away. The police also suspected that this could be a case of a SIM swapping scam.
According to the Indian Express report, on October 18, an incident involving a case and a High Court advocate was reported. He told the police administration that money had been withdrawn from his bank account. The police have not yet revealed how much money he has lost.
